GUEST SHOPKEEP 11/7

Heather Overby, a great poet and the curator of the Exploding Swan reading series, knows a helluva lot more about chapbooks than we do. She's also hilarious and has the best necklaces and smiles. She's going to be in charge this Saturday, the 7th. We highly recommend stopping by to chat her up. She can give you the scoop on the upcoming reading, and then move on to things more cosmic, though the reading itself will be cosmic, we assure you.

TO SEE HOW IT WENT DOWN ON FRIDAY NITE YEAH CUZ IT SURE DID

WE ARE OPEN THIS SATURDAY. WE ARE SO SO GLAD.

Expect new titles from Cannibal Books and Ugly Duckling Presse. Expect measuring tapes and hard hats. We'll be getting super ready.

20091013

WE ARE CLOSED THIS SATURDAY. WE ARE SO SO SORRY.

But we'll be back on track on the 24th, doors opening candy-apple sweetly, anticipation of below extravaganza rolling off us like dry-ice smoke, and a few new titles sitting ready as a conch.

confetti-sweaty love,

THINGS JUST KEEP COMING IN THE MAIL

These beautiful presses trusting us to middle-man-peddle to you, the finest curiosities in St. Louis: it is such a kind sweet wonder to sit and think upon.

But let's not just sit! Maybe there's a special thing that could happen here each month. And soon writers and artists and theater-thinkers might perform here.

Please email us your half-ideas about this. It is important that they are partial, so that they can be jigsawed into a larger-than-one-ever-could-ness.

Coffee and snacks and places to sit, free this Saturday as ever always...
